Oceanside’s Founders
Oceanside Staffing was founded by husband-and-wife team, Rachael Hudson-Svolis and Nick Svolis, who share a lifelong commitment to serving families at the highest level.

Nick brings more than 20 years of experience in private service, from managing life aboard some of the world's most distinguished super yachts to overseeing one of Harbor Island's most prestigious estates. His background gives him a practical yet thoughtful perspective on what it takes to run a seamless household.

Rachael adds a complementary path of her own. She began her career as a nanny and private educator for high-net-worth families, where her master's degree in education shaped her approach. After many years in yachting, she broadened her expertise in service and operations before co-founding Oceanside. Today, she continues to draw on those experiences in guiding placements with care, insight, and attention to detail.

We believe so strongly in our process, we guarantee it. If for whatever reason you’re unhappy with your match, we will offer a replacement within 90 days. We’re in the business of happy homes, guaranteed.
OUR ONE-YEAR GURANTEE
In the event employment ends before one-year, subject to the terms of our agreement, Oceanside staffing will gladly apply a prorated portion of your placement fee towards your next search.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE
We work around the clock to find the perfect fit for you and your family - but our rigorous process takes time. On average, our matching process typically takes between 2-4 weeks to find your perfect match; however, during our initial consultation, we will always ask about your timing restraints. Should you find yourself in a bind, we can expedite our 2-4 week process for an additional cost.

Hourly Rate
On average, the hourly rate for full-time nannies can range anywhere between $30-$50/hour. At Oceanside we place professional & full-time nannies only. Meaning we place nannies who have a college degree and/or 3+ years of experience in HNW (high net worth) homes. The hourly price will ultimately be determined by the needs of the children and the qualifications of our candidates.
Agency Fees
To start our search, we require a $199 Engagement Fee. This engagement fee is valid for one year should you decide to postpone the hiring process. ​

​Our Placement Fee is 18% of the employee’s total gross annual compensation (due after hire is completed and background checks are passed).
