Change of heart after paying our engagement fee? No worries! If for any reason, you decide to stop your search, you have up to one year to re-initiate your search per the conditions of our engagement fee & agreement. There are absolutely no other hidden fees or costs.
Our 90-Day Guarantee: We believe so strongly in our process, we guarantee it. If for whatever reason you’re unhappy with your match, we will offer a replacement within 90 days. We’re in the business of happy homes, guaranteed.
Our One-Year Guarantee: In the event employment ends before one-year, subject to the terms of our agreement, Oceanside staffing will gladly apply a prorated portion of your placement fee towards your next search.
To start our search, we require a $500 engagement fee that is deducted from our placement fee, upon the hiring of a candidate. For South Florida-based families our Placement Fee is 20% of the employee’s total gross annual compensation. In addition to local searches, our team can conduct customized nationwide searches for families located outside of the South Florida area. Nationwide searches incur a Placement Fee of 25% of the employee’s total gross annual compensation, with a minimum fee of $5,995. Additional fees may apply for short term positions, or positions in high-demand at the time of placement.

If you pay household staff more than $2,700 a year or $1,000 in a quarter you are considered a household employer and might be subject to employer taxes. While we can guide you through the process, we do not give legal or tax law advice. We suggest our friends at GTM Payroll who can guide you through the process.

We work around the clock to find the perfect fit for you and your family - but our rigorous process takes time. On average, our matching process typically takes between 2-4 weeks to find your perfect match; however, during our initial consultation, we will always ask about your timing restraints. Should you find yourself in a bind, we can expedite our 2-4 week process for an additional cost.
Criminal Background Checks (included in placement fee): This can include information from law enforcement, court, and correctional facility records, as well as sex offender records, social security trace, global watchlist search and national criminal searches.
Driving Record Checks (DMV) (included in placement fee): This will help you understand an applicant's driving history and may also show criminal driving records like DUIs.
Education Verification (included in placement fee): This can include records of an applicant's degrees and education to help confirm their qualifications for the job.
Social Media Checks (included in placement fee): Our database of candidates are required to make all social media accounts available to our agency for viewing. Once accounts are made public, we begin our thorough scrutinization.
International Background Checks (available at additional charge)*: We can run background checks in 200+ countries allowing you the peace of mind when hiring new staff.
I-9 Verification (available at additional charge)*: Form I-9 verification confirms W-2 employees’ employment eligibility in the United States, reduces risk when hiring, and ensures compliance.
Pre-employment health screening and physical exams (available at additional charge)*: This screening helps you evaluate your candidate’s overall health to confirm they’re physically and mentally capable to perform job-related responsibilities. Please note, not all health and physical exams are deemed necessary and thus not legal for specific household roles.
*Oceanside staffing conducts comprehensive criminal background checks, education verifications, DMV record checks and social media checks. Background checks beyond this scope can incur an additional charge.
