Screening Practices

Oceanside is unapologetically rigorous and meticulous in our screening practices. Only 4% of our applicants make it through our evaluation process - elite homes deserve elite staff. Here are some key practices involved in the Oceanside Screening process.

  • Criminal Background Checks:
    This can include information from law enforcement, court, and correctional facility records, as well as sex offender records, social security trace, global watchlist search and national criminal searches.
  • Driving Record Checks (DMV):
    This will help you understand an applicant's driving history and may also show criminal driving records like DUIs.
  • Education Verification:
    This can include records of an applicant's degrees and education to help confirm their qualifications for the job.
  • Social Media Checks:
    Our database of candidates are required to make all social media accounts available to our agency for viewing. Once accounts are made public, we begin our thorough scrutinization.
  • International Background Checks:
    We can run background checks in 200+ countries allowing you the peace of mind when hiring new staff. (available at additional charge)*
  • I-9 Verification:
    Form I-9 verification confirms W-2 employees’ employment eligibility in the United States, reduces risk when hiring, and ensures compliance. (available at additional charge)*
  • Pre-employment health screening and physical exams:
    This screening helps you evaluate your candidate’s overall health to confirm they’re physically and mentally capable to perform job-related responsibilities. Please note, not all health and physical exams are deemed necessary and thus not legal for specific household roles. (available at additional charge)*
